Our Itineraries
On each tour we visit the major cultural and historical sites, usually with a local guide adding to our own Tour Leader's knowledge. However, it is experiencing the unusual that is particularly exciting to students, and creates a lasting impression for years to come. In planning our itineraries, we have sought to strike a careful balance between education and activity, with an eye on keeping students interested and refreshed throughout the tour. We visit the places you'd expect, but having seen them, we go on to find the unusual, the extraordinary and the unique!

While we aim to keep our tour costs as low as possible, travelling with Global Educational Travel does not mean compromising quality, safety or comfort. We use our extensive network of contacts worldwide to book clean, good quality hotels, reliable transport and knowledgeable guides in the most cost-effective way - and we sell to you directly, eliminating all other middlemen. These savings are passed on to students and their parents, in the form of superior value for money.

As our prices can often be lower than those of many other tour companies, some instructors may be concerned that we stay in sub-standard hotels or visit low quality restaurants. This is NOT the case. Comfortable and Unique Accommodation
Students enjoy getting close to the local people and culture, especially when they have a hotel with comfortable western-style facilities to come home to in the evenings. While we do not stay in deluxe hotels, we always offer good quality, reasonably priced accommodation, enabling us to offer our educational tours at a fair cost to the students and their guardians.

Meals
Most school groups like to include nutritious breakfasts daily and many choose the convenience of having daily dinners included as well. Sampling different cuisines is an integral part of travel, and we ensure students are given the opportunity to sample local specialities and are provided with numerous meal options and ample portions. How many meals you'd like to include is entirely up to you. Should you wish your students to have a night out to explore local restaurants on their own, you won't be forced to adhere to our timetable. Go ahead, book a night or two off to experiment with local eateries - the tour price will fall accordingly.

Special Meal Requirements
In almost all instances we can provide special meals to those who require it. Whether it be allergies, religious restrictions or even just the whims of a finicky eater, we do our best to accommodate all requests to ensure students and teachers alike are properly looked after while on our tours.
